On September 22, 2025, Mr. Natthaphon Rangsitphon, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, presided over the Green Industry Awards 2025 ceremony under the concept “Together We Grow” to honor and recognize entrepreneurs who prioritize environmentally friendly business practices. The event was also attended by Mr. Ekniti Ramyanond, Mr. Krit Chansuwan, and Mr. Weerapong Lamcharoenchai, Inspectors General of the Ministry of Industry, along with executives of the Ministry of Industry. They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Pornyot Klankrong, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works, and executives of the Department at Makkhawan Rangsan Room, 3rd Floor, Royal Thai Army Club (Vibhavadi), Bangkok.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry revealed that the Ministry is committed to enhancing the competitiveness of the industrial sector to ensure strong growth for the Thai economy, particularly by promoting the Green Economy (Eco-friendly Economy). This is achieved through adapting production processes to meet rapidly changing consumer behaviors, applying eco-friendly technologies and clean energy, and promoting new industrial practices under the concept “Good Industry: Growing Sustainably with the Community” through the MIND 4 Dimensions policy.
The Ministry of Industry has continuously promoted and developed enterprises toward Green Industry, focusing on raising awareness among personnel at all levels about sustainable development, disseminating knowledge and experiences from role-model organizations, building experts, auditors, and advisory services (Coaching) to elevate enterprises to Green Industry Level 4 and 5, in line with the government’s policy to develop the economy and increase the competitiveness of Thai industry.
For the 2025 awards, a total of 273 enterprises were certified as Green Industry Level 4 and 5, consisting of:
Green Industry Level 5 (Green Network): 43 enterprises
Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture): 230 enterprises
