Message from Board of Directors

Daikin Industries (Thailand) LTD.  (hereinafter, DIT)  started its operations in 1990 and has been leading the region for more than 30 years as Daikin’s largest production base in the ASEAN-Oceania region. Daikin originally has evolved based on the policy of self-reliance, however, in order to continue to develop while responding to recent rapid changes in society and the environment, it is necessary to explore new possibilities through “collaborative innovation” with various industries or institutions, leading to innovation.

Recently, carbon neutrality has been set as a social goal due to concerns about rapid climate change, and each region in the ASEAN-Oceania is required to take measures to achieve these goals. DIT also supports that through the collaboration with industry or government by recognizing that we have a major role to play in pursuing the possibility of “Perfecting the Air*”, minimizing environmental impact, supporting regional development, and contributing to people's lives.

I believe that diversity is the most important factor in promoting such collaboration, and DIT actively employs a wide variety of human resources. It has been realized that the possibilities for collaboration are expanding when people with diverse backgrounds and experiences come together.

Based on Daikin group philosophy of "Together, We Brighten the Future", the group has declared “People-Centered Management”, in which we believe in and bring out the unlimited potential of each and every employee. I myself also believe in the unlimited potential of everyone who works at DIT. It brings me to my mission which is to create an environment in which DIT employees can maximize their potential and to provide opportunities to challenge all possibilities.
