Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., a design and development, manufacturer and distributor of
air-conditioners is concerning its employees who work in loud noise area over standard noise level,
85 dBA. Considering employees’ health and safety, company agrees to implement “Hearing Conservation
Measure” in accordance with Announcement of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, On the
Format of Implementing Hearing Conservation Measure for Workplace B.E.2561. Company has formulated
Hearing Conservation Policy for implementing activities as following.
1. ⦁ Abide Occupational Health and Safety Law as well as other requirements which company agreed to encourage Hearing Conservation activities.
2. ⦁ Implement loud noise monitoring, loud noise control, hearing monitoring. Improve and protect noise hazard as well as ensuring that employees and relevant people understand and implement according to policy.
3. ⦁ Provide appropriate resources including human, budget, time and training to support Hearing Conservation activities held by company.
4. ⦁ Managements, work controllers, employees, and relevant people have to be involved in Hearing Conservation implementation, and provide ideas to improve work environment.
5. ⦁ Evaluate implementation results of Hearing Conservation Policy periodically and maintain continual improvement
