Daikin Industries (Thailand) Earns Environmental Governance Recognition for Second Consecutive Year

Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. has been awarded the White Flag with Green Star for the second consecutive year. This achievement reflects the Company’s strong commitment to conducting its business in accordance with the principles of environmental governance, transparent management, and social and environmental responsibility. It also underscores the Company’s dedication to fostering sustainable trust and confidence among surrounding communities within industrial estates.


On 6 February 2026, at The Portal Ballroom, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, the Sustainable Development Division, Community Relations Department, acting as the Secretariat of the Industrial Estate Factory Inspection Supervisory Committee under Operations Division 1 and Operations Division 2, organized the Environmental Governance Flag Award Ceremony under the theme “Green Gold Growth for Sustainability: Governance Towards Sustainability.”

Mr. Sumet Tangprasert, Governor of the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), presided over the ceremony and delivered congratulatory remarks to entrepreneurs within industrial estates under Operations Division 1 and Operations Division 2 who successfully met the environmental governance management criteria. The evaluation covered physical, economic, environmental, social, and management dimensions under the Environmental Governance Project for the year 2025.


In 2025, a total of 201 factories participated in the program and successfully passed the assessment at the “Good” and “Excellent” levels. Among them, 9 factories received plaques of honor, 44 factories were awarded the White Flag with Gold Star, and 148 factories received the White Flag with Green Star. The awards covered 33 industrial estates nationwide.
