On December 13, 2024, Mr.Chansak Suwanakul, Senior General Manager represented the management to receive CSR-DIW AWARD 2024. This award was organized by Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry. Mr.Akanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, he presided over the ceremony, Mr.Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary and Mr.Pornyod Klankrong, Director General Department of Industrial Work, presented the award at Royal Jubilee Ballroom-IMPACT Arena. To award to establishments that prioritize, recognize and support the implementation of operations and fully comply with the standards of corporate social responsibility (CSR) for industrial operators.
CSR-DIW AWARD reflects the standard of operations under compliance with corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards for industrial operators with consideration for social responsibility, environmental and the involvement in sustainable community development. Covering all 7 types, which are corporate governance, human rights, labor practices, environmental care, fair operations, consumer interest and community development participation.
It emphasizes that Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. has adhered to the guidelines of corporate social responsibility for entrepreneur standard (CSR-DIW) which aims for Thailand to achieve sustainable development goals. It serves as a model industrial factory that will help drive Thai industrial sector to grow and remain sustainable alongside society and communities.
