HISTORY

Daikin Industries (Thailand) LTD. was established in February 1990 as the largest production base on an over 213,000 square meters, located in Amata City Industrial Estate, Chonburi, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of air-conditioner. We produce modern air conditioners that are exported around the world gain confidence and trust in the product including service work for a long time and we continue to develop to provide perfect air for everyone and the central company responsible for overseeing all administration operations on the ASEAN-Oceania. The Company has successfully acquired global reputation through the implementation of advanced management system and innovative technology in the production of compressors, Residential air conditioners and Commercial air conditioners with high efficiency. We put the climate control technology to work to make people’s lives more pleasant and comfortable.

We are committed to producing products to meet the customer needs. We have continued to achieve greater success in advancing production systems, product quality and sales as well as customer satisfaction.

We manufacture and assemble both residential and commercial air conditioners, both domestically as well as exported to foreign countries around the world.

Factory Development
February 1990 Company established.
December 1990 1st factory
Factory 1 produces Daikin air conditioners, Room Air Conditioner type, which is a small air conditioner. This factory has a production capacity of more than 2 million units per year, it is also a factory with the most efficient use of production space.
January 1991
Production of compressors and room air conditioners.
December 1996 2nd factory
Factory 2, there has 2 floors and produces Commercial Air conditioners, which are large air conditioners used in all commercial installations.
January 1997
Production of package air conditioners for commercial applications.
August 1999 Product Warehouse
Daikin was founded to facilitate products and raw materials to be delivered to customers or production lines in the supply chain in a timely and continuous manner.
November 2002
Production of air conditioners with alternative refrigerant (R410A).
January 2005
Production development started.
March 2005 Research & Development Center
Research & Development Center equipped with personnel who have good knowledge and expertise in the production of air conditioners. There is technology that supports modern research to design and develop various products to suit the market taking into account the way of life customer behavior and satisfaction.
February 2007 Training Center
Daikin Training Center in Thailand, we consider that employees to be our top priority. Our policy “People Center Management (PCM)”. This means putting people at the centre of management, focusing on the development of individuals within the organization.
April 2009 3rd factory
Production of small VRV air conditioners.
March 2014
Production of air conditioners with alternative refrigerant (R32).
