What features does my device support?

The WLAN lamp is not blinking/not lit?

Add Device +

Make sure the device's WLAN is turn on. If it's not, please refer the Product Operation Manual how to turn it on.

Did not find a label?

Add Device +

Please check the Operation Manual of the product. A spare label is attached to it.

I cannot add schedule, the "+" button is not available. Why?

Schedule +

You can save up to 6 actions of basic operation and 3 of AIR CARD per day to the schedule timer. When all slot of actions for a specific day are full, you will not be able to add more actions. Delete at least 1 to be able to add a new schedule.

How to delete account?

You can delete account by going to Setting --> Personal Setting --> delete account

How can I re-initialize the WLAN adapter to the factory default settings?

Folllow the Product Operation Manual.

I cannot find the device in my local network.

Add Device +

1. Make sure that your smartphone is installed the latest application.
2. Make sure that the router is working normally or restart your router and waiting for the WLAN adapter re-connect with router.
3. Make sure that the WLAN adapter is connected to the router.
4. Try re-configure the WLAN adapter to connect the router again.
5. Try to reboot the WLAN adapter by turn off your WLAN adapter and turn it on again.
6. Try turn off the circuit breaker and turn it on again.
7. Make sure that the UDP broadcast is allowed in your Wi-Fi router's configuration.

How many places, rooms, devices can I have in one account?

You can manage up to 5 places, with a limit of 10 rooms per place and 10 devices in a room.Each account supports a maximum of 50 devices in total.

My device displays offline.

About Device +

1. Make sure that the WLAN adapter is turn on.
2. Make sure that your internet network is working and your device is still connected to the internet by checking the WLAN lamp as operation manual suggests.

What is the best distance should I position the device to connect with the home Wi-Fi?

About Device +

To connect the device with home Wi-Fi router should be in this range ≤ 10 m. with no obstruction. For Access point connection ≤ 7 m. with no obstruction.

When trying to make a direct connection to the adapter (Access point connection), the adapter is not visible in the available Wi-Fi networks list of the smartphone/tablet.

About Device +

Make sure that WLAN adapter is turned ON and the WLAN lamp should blink or lit. Also, please make sure that SSID hiding is turned OFF in the Device Setting section.

What is Day light saving time setting?

Schedule +

It is a toggle that automatically moves your clock forward 1 hour in the summer and back 1 hour in the winter to extend evening daylight.

The schedule is not executed at the set time.

The timer actions are executed according to the WLAN adapter clock. You can check the current WLAN adapter date and time in the application by openning the Device's Remote Control and then go to "Device settings" then "Time".Make sure that the Time Zone has been set correctly.

I do not succeed in connecting the adapter to the wireless network by using the “WLAN settings” menu.

1. Make sure your wireless network name does not include special characters such as “%” “&” “?“ “+” “=” or non-ASCII characters. They are not supported by the WLAN adapter.
2. Make sure to use a compatible security setting. The WLAN adapter supports only WPA or WPA2 personal with AES encryption only.
3. Make sure that the wireless network band is B/G 2.4Ghz

Wireless LAN connecting adapter [DaikinAP*****] is not visible on the Wi-Fi available networks in Smartphone or PC.

1. Make sure the Wireless LAN connecting adapter is turned on.
2. Make sure that the SSID hiding setting is turned OFF in the Device Settings section.
3. Make sure that Smartphone or PC setting search for Wi-Fi frequency 2.4 GHz.
4. Make sure that the lamp of Wireless LAN connecting adapter is on or blinking.

I cannot connect the WLAN adapter with my network.

Please check that your wireless router is close enough to your WLAN adapter. The range of the WLAN adapter can be reduced significantly by obstructions containing metal (e.g. reinforced walls). Also check that the router is not set to use Wi-Fi channels 12 or 13 on your router's setup page (ref. your router's manual). The WLAN adapter does not support the use of Wi-Fi channels 12 and 13. If the router is set to Wi-Fi channel 12 or 13, change the router settings so another Wi-Fi channel is used within the range 1-11.

How to turn LED of room air conditioner off

Select the device on Air page then tap device setting and select LED menu. You can set LED to ON or OFF

I cannot edit Energy usage limitation or cost setting

You have to switch toggle on the top to off then you will be able to set Energy usage limitation and Cost setting

Energy monitoring pie graph only available in Online mode and when Energy usage limitation toggle is on

How to set the unit price of the electric bills in the Energy monitoring function?

1. In the Energy monitoring menu, scroll to the bottom, you shall see the room list there, choose a room that contains your device.
2. While you're in a Room view, scroll to the bottom, you shall see the device list there, choose a device.
3. Now you're in the Device view, you can set the unit price by tapping on the setting button at the top-right of the screen.

I can't connect my smartphone with Daikin's devices directly.

If there are other IoT devices (eg. Tuya brand ) nearby , Please turn them off before you pair smartphone with Daikin's devices because they will try to connect with your phone automitically which makes you're unable to connect with Daikin's devices.

During AIR CARD is running then I select new aroma, why the aroma still release the same scent?

AIR CARD +

The aroma will stay unchaged if the device is offline or the remaining time for AIR CARD is less than 1 minute.

I can't connect with device's adapter directly anymore (Access point method) after it is connected to the router.

Add Device +

Your building may have security protocol to block other Wi-Fi signal including Daikin WLAN adapter signal. To solve this you may ask IT administrator to allow Daikin WLAN adapter signals in your area network.

Can I change mode of device while I'm using custom AIR CARD?

AIR CARD +

You can change any operations of room air. For air purifier, you can only change mode from aroma to basic mode.

How many members can join my place or room?

Manage Account +

You can share up to 9 members per place (owner not included) to join your place or room. So for each device, it can be controlled by 10 different people.

I cannot find device during setup (Device Not Found / No Devices Found – Online & Offline Modes)

Add Device +

1. Make sure that your smartphone and the device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Make sure that the router is working normally, or restart your router and wait for the WLAN adapter to reconnect.
3. Make sure that the WLAN adapter (device) is properly connected to the router.
4. Try reconfiguring the WLAN adapter to connect to the router again.
5. Ensure that your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (not 5 GHz).
6. Verify that the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password are correct.
7. If your smartphone is connected to 5 GHz Wi-Fi and the device is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, please ensure that both can communicate with each other (if not, please contact your Internet Service Provider).
8. If the issue persists, please contact your internet service provider.

Why does the function sometimes not operate?

GPS Interlock +

The function performance may vary depending on your smartphone model, operating system version, network condition, and device settings.
Please make sure that:
- Location permission is enabled
- Internet connection is stable
- Background operation is allowed for the application
Some smartphone settings may restrict the application from running properly in the background.
For ios:
In some cases, iOS may automatically limit or stop background operation depending on device conditions and system settings. This behavior depends on the operating system and device conditions.

For Android:
Please allow the application to run in the background and adjust battery optimization settings for better performance, as some Android devices may automatically restrict background activity.
Battery saving mode, restricted background settings, unstable internet connection, or low battery conditions may affect the operation reliability and response timing.

Why does this function use more smartphone battery?

GPS Interlock +

This function may use Location services and background communication to improve operation accuracy and automation performance.
Battery usage may vary depending on:
- Smartphone model
- Operating system version
- Device settings
- Signal strength and network conditions
- Individual usage patterns
Using Location services, background processing, and network communication may increase battery consumption compared with general application usage.

Why does the function sometimes respond slowly?

GPS Interlock +

Response time may depend on internet connection quality, smartphone performance, and background operation conditions.

Poor network conditions, restricted background settings, battery saving mode, or delayed push notification delivery due to operating system or network conditions may affect the response timing.

Please make sure your smartphone is connected to a stable network and that background operation is allowed for the application.

I deleted my account and the app shows 'We're having trouble right now'

Please wait for 15 minutes and try again.

I tried using LINE account to connect with the support center, but the app says 'This LINE account is already linked'

External Service +

Each LINE account can be linked to only 1 AIR SELECT account. If you want to use your existing LINE account, you must first disconnect it from your previous account and deauthorize 'AIR SELECT & Daikin Thailand' from your LINE account before connecting to the support center again.
