Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. proudly took part in supporting a social and environmental initiative through the “Fish Release and Mangrove Reforestation in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother” activity, organized by Amata Corporation Public Company Limited in collaboration with the Khlong Tamru Subdistrict Administrative Organization and the Khlong Tamru Village Mother’s Fund, Chonburi Province. The activity was held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Khlong Tamru Mangrove Conservation Learning Center, Chonburi Province.
Mr. Osamu Sudo, Acting Chief Marketing Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited and Mr. Samit Thara, President of the Khlong Tamru Subdistrict Administrative Organization, graciously presided over the opening ceremony. Meanwhile, Mr. Nuttapong Hunjaed, General Manager of Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., along with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, participated in the activity to contribute as part of their commitment to environmental conservation and community development.
This activity was organized to make merit in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on the auspicious occasion of her 93rd birthday anniversary. The activity aims to conserve and restore the mangrove ecosystem, as well as to promote community participation in sustainable development.
In the event featured key activities, including:
• The release of 9,300 juvenile barramundi fish into the natural habitat
• The planting of 1,000 mangrove trees to expand the green area of the mangrove forest
Proceeds from the activity will be contributed to the Khlong Tamru Village Mother’s Fund, Chonburi Province, to support vulnerable groups in the community, including the elderly, people with disabilities and low-income individuals.
Daikin’s participation in this activity reflects the company’s commitment to conducting business alongside social and environmental responsibility, with the aim of creating a sustainable quality of life for Thai society.
