Daikin Joins the History, Empowering Employees to Participate in the “Sacred Fire” SEA Games Flame Torch Relay Celebration for the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games Across 3 Provinces in Thailand

16 November 2025 – Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "Daikin"), as a Gold Sponsor of the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games, proudly joined the nationwide celebration of the “Sacred Fire” SEA Games Flame Torch Relay, held simultaneously across 3 provinces: Chonburi, Bangkok, and Songkhla. Under the unifying concept “Breathe as One,” Daikin and its executives, employees, and their families participated with pride in both the official torch relay and the celebratory runs organized throughout the country. –Daikin’s factory in Amata Nakorn opened its grounds for the ceremony, welcoming over 1,000 executives and employees in a grand celebration run.

“Sacred Fire” is a powerful symbol of beginnings and hope. Daikin believes that the power of “good air” can connect all lives, just as the spirit of sports unites nations. We are deeply proud that our employees and executives were able to take part in delivering encouragement to Thai athletes and supporting the Games sustainably, under the shared concept “Breathe as One.”


            


CHONBURI – Opening the Amata Nakorn factory area with approximately 1,000 attendees including Daikin employees joining the celebratory run

Daikin’s factory in Amata Nakorn, Chonburi, was one of the official venues for the ceremony, welcoming over 1,000 attendees, including the Governor of Chonburi Province, athletes, diplomatic corps, sponsors, and other participants, in an atmosphere filled with excitement and unity.

● Joining the prestigious torch relay: The management from Daikin and Amata Facility Service Co., Ltd., led by:

○ Mr. Tsutomu Kurihara, President, Daikin

○ Mr. Hiroyuki Sato, Director & Senior General Manager, Daikin

○ Mr. Kazuhisa Hinatsu, Director & Senior General Manager, Daikin

○ Mr. Wallop Phungphairoj, Director & Senior General Manager, Daikin

○ Mr. Niwat Siripaiboon, Senior General Manager, Daikin

○ Mr. Aukkares Choochouy, Managing Director, Amata Facility Service Co., Ltd.


 The “Sacred Fire” SEA Games Flame Torch Relay Celebration route extended from Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. and concluded at Laem Bali Hai, Pattaya, covering an impressive 75 kilometers, carried by 73 torchbearers.


Daikin welcomed participants as both the start and finish point of the 3-kilometer celebration run dedicated to the Royal Flame, joined approximately 1,000 runners included Daikin employees and their families, generating an atmosphere of happiness, unity, energy, and collective pride.


     


BANGKOK – SIAM DAIKIN SALES EXECUTIVES AND EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN THE TORCH RELAY

The Bangkok ceremony took place at the plaza in front of the Indoor Stadium Huamark, where Daikin joined both the “Sacred Fire” SEA Games Flame Torch Relay Celebration and the major celebratory run. The event was held on a grand scale, attracting around 1,000 participants.

● Presiding over the ceremony: Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok

● Executives and employees from Siam Daikin Sales Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “SDS”) participated in the relay, led by:

○ Mr. Daisuke Murakami, President.

○ Mr. Vorapong Keeyapaj, Managing Director

● The Bangkok relay covered a distance of 64 kilometers with 73 torches, followed by a 3-kilometer celebration run at the Indoor Stadium plaza, joined by more than 1,000 participants, creating a powerful moment of unity and public engagement.

● Daikin also organized several special activities during the event, including AR Game “Pichonkun GoGo” “Cheer Board” for sending encouragement and messages of support to athletes “Share Corner” photo booth. These activities drew significant attention and enthusiastic participation from attendees.


     


SONGKHLA – EXECUTIVES, EMPLOYEES, AND SOUTHERN DEALERS PARTICIPATE FULLY IN THE TORCH RELAY

The Songkhla event was held at Tinsulanonda Stadium, drawing around 1,000 participants in a warm and vibrant atmosphere, equally energetic compared to the other provinces.

● Presiding over the ceremony: Mr. Ratthasart Chidchoo, Governor of Songkhla Province

● SDS executives, employees, and Southern regional dealers joined “Sacred Fire” SEA Games Flame Torch Relay Celebration, led by Mr. Ditthapon Jutapattarakul, General Manager, Dealer Division.

The relay route extended from Tinsulanon Stadium to Lan Phra Bida Plaza at Prince of Songkla University, covering a total of 70 kilometers. Participants then joined a 5-kilometer celebration run, with more than 1,000 people taking part.


     


With this sponsorship, Daikin reaffirms its global mission under the concept “Perfecting the Air,” which aims to advance air quality, environmental sustainability, and long-term well-being. This initiative aligns with the frameworks of the “Green SEA Games” and “Sustainable Paralympics,” contributing to progress toward a low-carbon society (Net Zero Emissions).


     


Following this “Sacred Fire” SEA Games Flame Torch Relay Celebration, the path of honor will continue toward the Opening Ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games, hosted by Thailand from 9-20 December 2025, and the 13th ASEAN Para Games, held from 20-26 January 2026. Daikin will continue to stand behind every athlete, under the concept "Breathe as One” ensuring that every breath is filled with hope, determination, unity, and the collective spirit of the ASEAN community.
