On this occasion, Daikin joined as a supporter of the “THANK YOU THAI TEAM” event, organized to congratulate and express appreciation to Thai national athletes, sports associations, officials, and all stakeholders who contributed to the nation’s outstanding achievements at the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games.

The event was held on January 30, 2026, at Hua Mak Indoor Stadium, attended by representatives from government agencies, sports associations, athletes, sponsors, and Daikin representatives, led by Hoonjung Kim, Corporate Branding Manager, Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd.

As a partner supporting the competitions throughout the events, Daikin presented air purifiers to 15 Thai athletes with outstanding results, including Chankao Udompen, the youngest Thai athlete to win a SEA Games gold medal in skateboarding; Puripol Boonson, a track and field athlete who broke SEA Games and national records; and Saysunee Jana, a wheelchair fencing athlete, among others. The presentation symbolized Daikin’s commitment to supporting health, well-being, and an optimal environment that enables individuals to reach their full potential.

The atmosphere of the event was warm and inspiring, filled with pride, applause, and smiles—reflecting the collective efforts of all sectors in advancing Thai sports on the ASEAN stage.
