March 31, 2026 — A night of pride for Thai football fans unfolded once again as the Thailand national team secured a victory over Turkmenistan in the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers—a crucial match that paves the way toward the AFC Asian Cup 2027 in Saudi Arabia. The atmosphere at Rajamangala National Stadium was filled with energy, passion, and unwavering support from fans across the stands.

As the official main sponsor of the Thailand national football team, Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. (hereafter referred to as "Daikin") proudly took part in this memorable moment by organizing activities under the concept of “We Cheer We Care.” The initiative combines the power of Daikin Blue Spirit cheering with the communication of impactful CSR outcomes, aiming to create positive contributions to both society and the environment.

Daikin’s activity booth attracted enthusiastic participation from fans, offering a variety of engaging experiences. These included showcasing Daikin’s Blue Spirit energy in exchange for refreshing Blue Spirit soda, a Blue Spirit-themed photo booth for capturing memorable moments, and the chance to win exclusive prizes such as autographed Thailand national team jerseys, Daikin original portable fans, and tote bags.

Another key highlight was a special activity featuring BG Pathum United players, Patrik Gustavsson and Nathan James, who joined an interactive and fun competition with lucky fans. Winners received exclusive “We Cheer We Care” shirts and bags signed by both players.

During halftime, Daikin held a jersey donation ceremony, presenting 1,000 shirts to representatives from schools and academies participating in this CSR program. These shirts are part of the “We Cheer We Care” campaign, where volunteer fans collected plastic bottles around match venues to recycle them into sportswear and equipment for youth in rural areas. In its first season, the campaign successfully collected 66,465 plastic bottles—equivalent to reducing carbon emissions comparable to planting over 100 trees—demonstrating how the power of cheering can create value beyond the game.

In addition, 100 children from participating schools and academies were invited to experience the match live at the stadium. This initiative aimed to inspire and provide young people with the opportunity to witness an international-level football match firsthand.

Daikin remains committed to continuously supporting the Thailand national team, while also driving impactful CSR initiatives that create long-term value. The company stands firmly alongside the team in every journey, extending the power of cheering beyond victory toward meaningful contributions to society and the environment.
