Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., a leading global air conditioner manufacturer, organized an event to celebrate its 35th anniversary of operating in Thailand under the concept, “35th Anniversary of DAIKIN Thailand: Power of Chonburi,   Power of The Game”. The event featured a charity football match, with the proceeds from donations going towards scholarships for students in 35 schools across the Chonburi province. Attendees also enjoyed various fun activities and had an opportunity to win prizes at the event.

The event featured a charity football match between a DAIKIN Team, The Chonburi City Police Station Team, The Royal Thai Fleet Football Club Team, in collaboration with The Embassy of Japan in Thailand, and The Region 2 Provincial Police Team. Proceeds from the event, totalling over 350,000 baht, were donated as scholarships to students from 35 schools in Chonburi province. The scholarships were officially presented by Mr. Akinori Atarashi, Chairman of Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., Mr. Tsutomu Kurihara, President of Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., and Mr. Wittaya Khunpluem, President of Chonburi Football Club.

After the first round of the charity-friendly football match, a special game took place between a VIP Daikin Team and VIP Chonburi FC Team. This match featured legendary players and coaches showcasing their skills, including Sinthaweechai Hathairattanakool, Adul Lahso, Suttinun Phukhom, Anucha Kitpongsri, Witthaya Laohakul, Worawut Srimaka, Jadej Meelarp and Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul, among others. The event also included a Meet & Greet session, giving attendees an opportunity to greet and get autographs from these football legends.

The Royal Thai Fleet Football Club Team, in collaboration with The Embassy of Japan, in Thailand was the winner. Representatives from both teams jointly received the championship trophy at Chonburi Daikin Stadium.

In addition, the event also featured game booths where participants could win various prizes, along with enjoying food and beverages. There was also a Lucky Draw activity, where attendees could capture moments from the event, post them on social media and receive a chance to win DAIKIN air purifiers and other prizes. The event concluded with a lively atmosphere, as cheers from the enthusiastic Chonburi crowd echoed throughout the stadium, wrapping up a day of joy and celebration.
