DAIKIN Joins Forces with DENSO to Sign MOU at "DAIKIN x DENSO DRIVING THE SUSTAINABILITY FORWARD" to install air conditioning solutions in employees' workspaces. With clean air innovations that aim to create an environment for good health both physically and mentally, while helping to continue the sustainability resolution by jointly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and raising awareness for society to work together to protect the environment. Setting long-term goals to jointly create Net Zero by 2050

Mr. Akinori Atarashi Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Naoto Sekida President of Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. revealed that DAIKIN and DENSO are organizations with the same ambition, which is to operate in a sustainable environment. This MOU is an important drive to shorten the distance to the goal of carbon neutrality. This includes the highest long-term results to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Under this collaboration, Siam Daikin Sales Co., Ltd. and Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. with a team of engineers and experts, will jointly formulate a plan and deliver the best air conditioning management solutions. The installation will be installed in DENSO's factory area to ensure that all employees are healthy both physically and mentally from a clean and quality air

environment in accordance with Perfecting the Air standards. Ready to continue to be a pilot infrastructure installed in DENSO's factories across the country. The solution system has been continuously developed and created to meet important environmental issues, such as inverter technology installed in all types of air conditioners, contributing to reducing energy consumption. The company has also developed the innovative Daikin Max Inverter to enhance energy conversion efficiency to 93% by 2025, VRV System technology for commercial use, which can reduce energy consumption and reduce carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere comprehensively.

In addition, the MOU is also an important step for the two organizations to jointly reduce and prevent the accumulation of greenhouse gases (GHG). which is the root of the problem that is affecting the lives of people in society such as climate change and global warming through the use of solution systems. Mr. Daisuke Murakami, President of Siam Daikin Sales Co., Ltd., added that DAIKIN recognizes that environmental sustainability cannot be achieved in a single day including that it cannot be achieved just from this MOU. But DAIKIN and DENSO's main aspirations, we want people to be aware of their responsibilities, from the organization to consumer to be a part, we must come together to drive the same goal to create sustainability and achieve results soon. DAIKIN has a short-term action plan, which is in 2024. We aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 200 million kgCO2 equivalent to planting more than 8 million trees, by releasing new products like the Daikin Max Inverter Star Series.
